Tank Cleaning Services
Abbey Cleaning Services (ACS) is a division of Abbey Logistics Group and was established in 1990. The Tank Cleaning Division of Abbey was developed to retain maximum quality in our control of operations, through the internal provision of critical support functions.
Due to Abbey’s experience in the food industry, ACS has developed a wealth of knowledge in providing cleaning services to operators within the bulk liquid distribution industry. In addition, ACS also provide cleaning services for IBC’s, tank containers, fridge containers and most other commercial vehicles.
Our tank cleaning facilities are constructed and operated according to the guiding principles of the Food-Industry and each site has been accredited as approved wash-bays for many leading food product manufacturers and are all SCOPA Approved cleaning bays.
All members of the tank cleaning staff have undergone a Basic Food Hygiene course such as the American Institute of Bakers. Strict wash-cycle guidelines have been established “in-house” and approved by clients to ensure maximum compliance and quality is achieved – every time.
The process is supported by a fully documented ISO9001 system of working and are approved under ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS18001 Health & Safety Management. A key feature of our strive to reduce our Carbon Footprint is the water recycling system which we invested in at both Liverpool and Hull in 2009.
