Apprenticeships
Abbey have a very successful Apprenticeship programme which has been in place for nearly 20 years. We are proud of the fact that our Current Managing Director & Commercial Manager were both employed as apprentices at Abbey in 1995. In addition, our Management Accountant also came through the programme.
We invest heavily in training all our staff and for this reason we were short-listed for the Motor Transport 'Training Award' in May 2011 with the winner being announced on 6th July 2011.
Apprentices are employed in the following areas of the business at present;-
- Finance
- IT
- Operations
- Workshop
