The Board of Directors and Management are committed to excellence in our efforts to protect the environment throughout our business operations. We regard such effort and effective action in this important domain as the responsibility of all company employees.

The company is commited to complying with the requirements of ISO 14001.

Our strategic goal to create a coherent framework of sound environmental practices across all areas of our business operations will be achieved by:-

  • Setting corporate objectives for improvements in environmental performance
  • Monitoring progress against those corporate objectives
  • Understanding the requirements and expectations of our customers and developing policies to meet these expectations
  • Observing all environmental legislation and regulations and ensuring mechanisms are in place to assure continuing compliance, the company is committed to continual improvement and preventing pollution
  • Informing all employees of their legal obligations and ensuring compliance through the provision of suitable training programmes and effective supervision
  • The efficient use of utilities and natural resources including waste minimisation
  • The efficient management and disposal of all waste products and materials
  • Establishing a continuous process of driver training, incentives and corrective maintenance procedures to manage and reduce atmospheric pollutions

This Policy is communicated to all employees and externally via the web site. It is formally reviewed at the annual Management Review.
