How do we do it?
By: - Operating a Quality Management system to EN ISO 9001
- Assessing and managing all operational risks to reduce potential danger to all operations personnel
- Training our staff to work safely and in an environment friendly way
- Strictly adhering to food hygiene standards in all operations
- Managing our waste control operations to defined National Environment Protection standards
- Having an established Emergency Plan that is managed and operated in partnership with qualified contractors, who are nationally positioned to respond to, and deal with any spillage or road incident
- Managing a vehicle replacement programme to ensure that all our trucks meet the London Low Emissions standard and the Euro 4/5 standards by end 2008
- Encouraging our customers to optimise our network to avoid empty running
- Continuing our tanker design and replacement programme to maximize payload capacities to reduce the number of loads carried, and thus reduce the impact of avoidable road activity
- Micro managing our wash-bay effluent, water, and gas oil usage for total efficiency
- Maintaining a rigorous schedule of up-to-date maintenance on all equipment
- Maintaining a common fleet of trucks (DAF) all having Euro 5 environmentally friendly engines by end 2009
- Satellite Navigation and Tracking systems on all trucks to help reduce unnecessary mileage
 - Incorporating floor level operations into our tank designs to reduce risk of accidents from working from heights
- Offering and managing incentives to our drivers to motivate them to achieve higher fuel efficiencies, and training them to "drive in the green"
