Abbey Roadtanks support Macmillan - October 2009
1st of 10 Macmillan Livery Tankers on the road . . . . . As part of the commitment made to Macmillan Cancer Care in May 2009, ART have arranged for ten of its tankers to have Macmillan advertisements instead of the usual Abbey logo on the dome end. Funded by Abbey, the advertisements are intended to raise awareness of the help available to people affected by Cancer and also raise awareness of the cause itself. The first of these 10 tankers was on the road last week and it is hoped all ten will be spotted around the UK before the end of 2009! This innovative idea will help demonstrate to other businesses how they could help charities in a big way without having a large outlay of cash. Abbey Road Tanks are proud to support Macmillan and the great work that this Charity carries out 365 days a year.
