Unilever Contract Renewal. May 2008

Renewal of Bulk Liquid Distribution contract with Unilever, Port Sunlight

Abbey Road Tanks are delighted to announce the renewal of its Bulk Liquid Distribution Contract with Unilever Port Sunlight which involves the management of all on site tanker / storage requirements using VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) and all deliveries to Third Party packaging / storage companies.

The renewal extends ART's 25 year trading relationship with Unilever (Formerly Lever Brothers), Port Sunlight for a substantial period.  Due to the continued commitment to a long term relationship shown by Unilever, ART have invested a further £1m in the following assets;-

• Five new lightweight CF85.460 tractor units - delivered March 2008 (Picture Above)
• Eight new lightweight Clayton tanks capable of carrying up to 30 tonnes - due for delivery March to May 2008
• Over the next four months the existing 35 tankers deployed at Port Sunlight will be modified to include enhanced safety features and an improved image
• One Terberg Tugmaster shunt vehicle
